This quite recently opened pizza place got award for best pizza place in Northern Europe (https://www.50toppizza.it/en/premi-internazionali-2018/), so had to try it out.
Place was quite full and being in a bit of hurry, I asked first how long it will take for a pizza. They promised 20-30 minutes, which was fine for me. Estimate was quite accurate and after 25 minutes I got in front of me nice looking Diavola. The taste was also top Continue reading

Sunny and warm day, like the whole second half of July 2018 was. Really great location by the sea. Stayed on the terrace, the place looked nice inside as well. Quite busy at 6pm so had to wait quite long for the food to come. But the staff was nice and did their best.
Had meat charcuterie plate with some triple fried fries, pretty good. Fries would have needed a pinch more salt, but the place being so busy and after a long wait, I just wanted to eat them right away.
Meat plate 18€, fries 6€ and 1.5€ for extra parmesan-pea-mayo.

Located two kilometers from the old town, at Palatul Bragadiru, just behind Parlament House. Serving tradional romanian dishes, some with modern twist.
Nice terrace and colourful interesting interior.
Not cheap on Bucharest scale, but well worth of the money.
I had Zucchini flowers stuffed with Urda cheese (34 lei) for starters and Rabbit with olives cooked in clay pot from Marginea (53 lei) for main. Both very good. For drinks, Cramposie white wine from Prince Stirbey (75 lei).

Nice change from ordinary pita kebab. A bit spicy lamb inside a pita bread with a lot of fresh stuff making it enjoyable lunch with a cold beer. Reasonable priced, 9.5€ for the food.
